Columbia Skin Clinic is proud to introduce Dr. Mavina Guram, a talented board-certified dermatologist who joined our team in 2024. Dr. Guram serves patients at our Columbia, Lexington, and Irmo locations, bringing her expertise in medical, surgical, and cosmetic dermatology to our clinics. She is passionate about providing personalized care to patients of all ages and is known for her ability to help patients feel more confident in their skin as their dermatologic conditions improve.
Dr. Guram’s educational background is impressive. She graduated summa cum laude with a Bachelor’s degree in Biology from the University of South Carolina, where she was part of the Honors College. After completing her medical degree at the Medical University of South Carolina, Dr. Guram pursued her dermatology residency at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences, where she was honored to serve as Chief Resident in her final year.
Dr. Guram’s approach to dermatology is built on developing strong relationships with her patients and providing compassionate, evidence-based care. She enjoys helping her patients navigate a variety of skin concerns, from acne and eczema to skin cancer and cosmetic treatments. Dr. Guram finds great satisfaction in watching her patients’ self-confidence grow as their skin health improves.
As a Columbia native, Dr. Guram is thrilled to be back in her hometown. Outside of her medical career, she enjoys spending quality time with her family, traveling, and cheering on the South Carolina Gamecocks.
