Mavina Guram, M.D.
Dr. Mavina Guram is a highly skilled, board-certified dermatologist dedicated to providing comprehensive dermatological care across Columbia, Lexington, and Irmo. Her expertise spans medical, surgical, and cosmetic dermatology, ensuring a holistic approach to skin health. Dr. Guram has a passion for treating patients of all ages, fostering meaningful connections, and being an integral part of their skin health journeys. She finds great fulfillment in witnessing her patients’ self-confidence grow as their skin conditions improve. With a steadfast commitment to making a positive impact, Dr. Guram looks forward to enhancing the lives of her patients for many years to come.
A Columbia native, Dr. Guram joined the esteemed Columbia Skin Clinic team in 2024. She graduated summa cum laude from the University of South Carolina’s Honors College, earning a Bachelor’s degree in Biology. She then obtained her medical degree from the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston. Dr. Guram completed her dermatology residency at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences, where she distinguished herself as chief resident during her final year.
Returning to her hometown, Dr. Guram is delighted to serve the Columbia community alongside her husband. Outside of her practice, she enjoys quality time with family, traveling, and cheering on the South Carolina Gamecocks.
